o2 Update Regarding Network Incident 6th December - Airtime Credits
Following the data incident on 6th December, we let our Business customers know that we'd be crediting them two days monthly airtime subscription charges to say sorry.
We're now able to confirm the timings for these credits.
What does this mean for our customers?
Customers will have received this SMS:
“We’re very sorry about yesterday’s network issues. We understand how important it is to stay connected, especially at this time of year. You’ll receive a credit for two days of your monthly airtime subscription charges by the end of January. We’re doing all we can to make sure this issue doesn’t happen again.”
Some customers are asking when they’ll see this credit on their accounts.Business customers on DISE whose billing date is 22 – 31 December will see the credit on their December bill.
Customers whose billing date is 1 – 21 December will see the credit on their January bill.
These will be applied automatically – the customer doesn't need to do anything to activate them.
Business customers on DISE will see “Network incident credit 06 Dec” on their bill.
